India Education Centre University was established in 2013. It is a private university located at the HIMUDA Education Hub, near the village Kalujhanda, Solan district, Himachal Pradesh, India. This University isn’t approved by AICTE because it doesn’t require that approval. Only the institutions which are affiliated with Universities require approval. Since IEC is a bonafide university established by a State Act, it doesn’t require to be approved by AICTE.

IEC University is a multi-disciplinary private university which is located in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
IEC University, Solan does not offer distance education. IEC University has applied for approval for distance education to the UGC.
